MASSA is a solo experimental movement-voice-performance, directed and performed by Beatriz Silva. Throughout the performance the combination and association of movements play with the ambiguity of identity of a being. By experimenting with the constant reconstruction of a different body within the collective, a body moves and sounds in its infinitely changeable and mutable nature, playing with different qualities, shapes and vocalizations, the performer aims to recreate a collective and fragmented identity. This body moves on its own and in active interaction with the environment and the audience.
